Liz, our host, provided a warm welcome and was genuinely helpful. It was nice to have fresh milk available for in-room drinks. Plus, it's conveniently located not far from the harbour where you can catch the boat to the scilly isles.
strongly recommend.

The breakfast was delicious with a lot of GOOD food on offer. The hotel location was comfortable and handy on the market. Besides, we were just next door to foreshore and restaurants, the seafront and the beach, supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

A good breakfast experience
Our mornings began with Liz's homemade full English breakfast, piping hot and served with a smile, the best way to start the day. Liz herself is a treasure trove of local recommendations. The room was spacious, quiet, and impeccably clean, a perfect sanctuary after a day of exploring.
While the location is superb, reaching the town center requires a longer stroll, which might not be ideal for everyone. Limited parking options on busy streets can also be a hassle, especially during peak times.

And let's not even start about how I expected a lovely complimentary treat for my stay. Instead, I was met with mediocre surroundings. Honestly, it's shocking that they don't have a lounge area!

The breakfast setup offers a unique tick-box menu, allowing you to customize your order every morning, along with a range of cereals, fruit, and drinks. The room boasts a comfortable atmosphere.
The Wi-Fi connection proved to be spotty, with the designated one for my room failing while others worked fine. Although the location features a scenic walk through a park from the train station, it's still a bit of trek if you're lugging bags. The bathroom's shower lacked sufficient power.

The garden and tennis court were perfect for relaxation, and we loved exploring the tree-lined road leading to the promenade. Breakfast was great and had various options. Just a heads-up , be prepared for limited evening dining options nearby. Highly recommended!
One downside was parking. It can get tricky on busy streets, and finding a spot was a hassle.

Perfect stay with a lovely host!
We spent 3 nights in a spacious, cozy room, and Liz was an awesome host! Her full English breakfasts are to die for-so filling! The location is great, close to everything you need. Just wish the parking was a bit easier, but it didn't ruin our trip. Can't wait to go back!
